On arrival you will be met with your driver/guide, who will take you on delightful drive to your selected accommodation.
Katavi is one of Africa’s best wildlife destinations, offering both dramatic and adventurous settings. enjoy in safely observing hippos and crocodiles in the rivers and more mammals than any other park in Tanzania. This park is widely known for its large herds of buffalos and elephants, with many lion, leopards, crocodiles and hippos. You will enjoy game drives in open safari vehicles, extraordinary bird life and walking safaris.[/boc_accordion][boc_accordion title=”Day 4-6: Katavi – Mahale Mountains National Park”]After breakfast, you will say goodbye to Katavi, as we take you on a game drive transfer to Katavi Airstrip, for scheduled flight to Mahale airstrip. You guide will pick you up on arrival and served the lunch at the camp. Shortly after you will proceed for chimpanzee tracking in the forest. Dinner and overnight are your selected accommodation.
Following two days are reserved for chimpanzee trekking in the forest, starting after. You will visit waterfalls inside the park, go birding watching, and in the evenings swim in the Lake Tanganyika, followed by a bonfire on the beach. Meals and overnight will be at your selected accommodation.
