Such an early start gives you time for a game drive after arrival and lunch at your selected accommodation. Set aside that the reserve is aimed for hunting, you can still have a lot of fun and wildlife to observe. In the Rufiji River you will be able to spot hippos and crocodiles, with the birdlife equally mesmerizing. Lion are very common in the area, as they lay in the shade around lakes,waiting for the opportunity to feast on the animals coming to drink.
